Color Scale
Sequential OKLab ramps from design tokens. Fixed seed, one error red.
Color Scale
Your colors
Accent, success, warn, and error are the --accent, --success, --warn, and --error tokens. The other chips are categorical brand paints, not a second ramp.
Sequential ramps mix the two ends in OKLab, then reduce chroma until the color fits in sRGB, so lightness moves in one direction. That is the choropleth default. Diverging ramps pass through white (#FFFFFF, not the theme surface, so the center stays light in both themes) and are for data with a meaningful middle. Endpoint pairs closer than OKLab ΔL 0.08 are marked unsafe — accent, success, and error sit near the same lightness. The specimen seed is fixed. Randomize runs only from the header control.
